Diocese of Pokhara Distributes School Bags and Ration Kits to Needy Children

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Pokhara organized Covid relief supply distributions for underprivileged children on 7 August 2021, through Hope for Children.

The distributions were held at two places in western part of Nepal, under the guidance of H.G. Titus Mor Osthathiose Episcopa.

Mr. Pushparaj Sigdel, ward member and Mr. Bishnu Sigdel, former president of disability association, were present at the distribution program held in Kaski District. While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pushparaj expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Hope for Children for its continuous service to society, especially for working towards the welfare of underprivileged children”.

On behalf of the parents of the children, Mrs. Anjana expressed her gratitude to Hope for Children for providing education and relief materials to the children in need.

At the end of the program, ration kits were distributed to 65 needy children. Four children who graduated from Hope for Children were also felicitated and gifted with stationery items, on the occasion.

Similar distribution was held at another location where 73 children were provided with school bags.
