Believers Church Diocese of Patna organized organized awareness-cum-social welfare programs in two different places on World Health Day, 7th April 2016.
A team of Women’s Fellowship members and Sisters of Compassion organized these programs. They conducted awareness classes for the participants on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to achieve optimum health. Later, they also distributed sarees to 34 destitute women and mosquito nets to 50 families, which were in dire need of help.
The people who attended these programs thanked the sisters for making them aware of the importance of health and hygiene and the interconnection between the two. They also made decision to incorporate good hygiene practices in their daily life.
