On 19th November 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Patna inaugurated a new sanitation project in a large rural village.
Through this project, the church will construct 500 toilets for extremely poor families residing in this village. The Church is also planning to provide toilets for girls in schools that lack sanitation facilities.
Sri. Kaushal Kaushik (Mayor) inaugurated the project in the presence of Bishop M.A. Lalachan. He, in his message appreciated the Church for taking such an initiative to provide these poor and needy people sanitation facilities.
The Church, through providing access to good sanitation, not only ensures dignity of the individual but also improves health and quality of their life.
