Diocese of Patna Extends Help to Flood-hit Families

Due to incessant rainfall in Bihar, the river Ganga has crossed the danger mark at several places, leading to hundreds of villages submerging under the water and leaving thousands of people affected.

In a bid to help those affected by the floods, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Patna carried out a door-to-door distribution of relief supplies on 19 August 2021.

Around 25 families were helped with dry ration kits consisting of rice, dal, flattened rice, and chickpeas. The recipients extended their gratitude to the church for reaching out to them with timely help.
