Diocese of Patna Distributes School Supplies and Hygiene Kits to Needy Children

As part of the continued efforts to help children thrive and reach their full potential, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Patna distributed school supplies and hygiene items through Hope for Children on 13 November 2021.

In this distribution, 64 needy children were provided with scale, pens, pencil, eraser, sharpener, tooth paste, tooth brush, hair oil, bathing soap, washing soap, shampoo, hand sanitizer, and talcum powder.

The program was conducted under the leadership of the vicar general of the diocese. The local church priest and the Hope for Children staff were also present at the distribution program.

Speaking on the occasion, the local priest encouraged the children to focus on their studies. “Study well; education is the key to success”, he said.

The children were very much happy and thankful for the gifts.
