Diocese of Udipur Gifts Sewing Machines to Tailoring Graduates

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Udaipur held a tailoring graduation ceremony on 11 April 2023.

Ten widows who were trained in tailoring by Hope for Children under its ‘Shakti Project’ were gifted with brand new sewing machines on the occasion to help them start their own businesses.

Shri Kevalram, district pradhan, Shri Ashok Ahari, head of the village, and Shri Bansilal, vice sarpanch were present at the program.

Santoshi, one of the beneficiaries said, “I am so happy to receive the gift. I will use the machine to earn an income that will sustain my family”.
