Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Ranchi organized cleanliness drives at different places in honour of the father of the nation on the occasion of his birth anniversary on 2 October 2021.
A team of women’s fellowship sisters went to a government high school to clean its premises. Since the school had been closed for a very long time owing to the pandemic, it needed a thorough cleaning. The women’s team cleaned both the inside and outside areas of the school, apart from clearing weeds from the premises. Later, few teachers and students also joined the clean-up drive; working alongside the women’s fellowship members.
The school Principal Mrs. Anima Panna appreciated the women’s team for undertaking the drive and said, “I am so much thankful to you for taking this wonderful initiative. Our school was so dirty but now it looks very clean”.
Similar clean-up programs were organized by women’s fellowship and Sisters of Compassion teams at different places on this day.
