Diocese of Ranchi Gifts School Bags to 180 Children on Children’s Day

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Ranchi organized a school bag distribution program through Hope for Children on 14 November 2022, on the occasion of Children’s Day, celebrated each year on the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Mrs. Punam Devi, district council member was the chief guest at the distribution program. Mrs. Archana Toppo, panchayat chief, Mr. Maduoa Kachhap, village head, Mrs. Lalita Ekka, panchayat samiti member were present at the event.

A total of 180 underprivileged children were gifted with school bags at the function which was followed by cultural program.
