Diocese of Purulia Holds Free Medical Camp

In an initiative to provide vital healthcare services to those who needed them the most, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Purulia organized a free medical camp on October 2, 2023, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, which brought smiles to the faces of 48 individuals who received free medical treatment and essential medicines.

For many in the community, this event was nothing short of a lifeline. Mrs. Sunila Mahato, a 54-year-old resident, shared her gratitude, saying, “I was sick for a long time, but as I was staying alone at home, I could not go for a medical check-up. I am so thankful to Believers Eastern Church for giving free treatment and medicines.”

Mr. Paresh Mahato, aged 62, expressing his heartfelt thanks to the church for their benevolence, said, “I am thankful to Believers Eastern Church for organizing this medical camp and providing free treatment and medicines.”

Another beneficiary, Mr. Joydeep Mahato, aged 46, said, “For a long time, I have been suffering from knee problems, but I could not visit a doctor due to financial problems. I am thankful to Believers Eastern Church for arranging this free medical camp and providing free medicines.”
