Believers Eastern Mission Province of Jabalpur organized a school supply distribution program through Hope for Children on 13 November 2021.
Speaking at the event, the local parish priest said to the children, “We have gathered here to celebrate Children’s day and motivate and encourage all of you to live a good life and we also wish you all a bright future.” He further said, “You are our hope, and if you follow the lessons you have been learning through your teachers and parents, you would never miss any blessings in your life and even in your old age, you would be a greatly blessed person.”
At the end of the program, the diocesan team gave away the stationery kits to over 30 children. Each child received a drawing book, pen, pencils, a compass and a set of colored pencils. The children were very happy to receive the gifts and meet with all their friends and teachers after a long time. They thanked the teachers and staff of Hope for Children for providing them the stationery items which they were really in need of.
Gehna Ahirwar said, “I feel proud to be part of Hope for Children project and I am always grateful to my teachers and staff at the center for providing our needs and helping us grow well in all the areas of our life.”
Ritika Ahirwar said, “We are very happy to receive the stationery items today. We are so grateful to Hope for Children for always being thoughtful of our needs, studies and health.”
