Diocese of Lucknow Distributes Over 240 Meals Among Covid-Hit Families

On 21 May 2021 Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow delivered free, fresh and healthy meals to 60 Covid-hit families at three different places of Lucknow District.

Since the start of the food distribution initiative, the diocese has been catering to Covid-affected families who have been unable to prepare food for themselves while they recuperate from the disease. Three helpline numbers have been issued by the diocese which is also reaching out to families in need via social media.

Not just Covid patients, the diocese is also providing meals to the underprivileged section of the society, especially the daily wage workers who have lost their jobs during the lockdown, so that they don’t sleep hungry at night.

Over 240 meals were prepared and delivered by the diocese today, while strictly adhering to Covid-19 protocols.
