On 9 June 2020 Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow distributed 200 food and water packets among migrant laborers who arrived at the Lucknow railway station after a three-day journey from Mumbai.
After a tiresome and long journey they were glad to receive the warm meals and drinking water. From the railway station again they will need to board a bus to return to their villages in Barabanki, Sitapur, Raibareli and Lalganj.
This little girl and her family have been staying in relief camp near the railway station for four days and they haven’t gotten a bus to return to their native village in Uttar Pradesh.
The team also distributed food packets to the poor and needy found on the roadsides.
The team maintained social distancing during the food distribution.
