Diocese of Kathmandu Organizes Bible Quiz Competition

The women’s fellowship department of Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu organized a Bible quiz competition in Lalitpur District, Nepal on 3 October 2021.

The main objective of organizing this contest was to inspire the women’s fellowship members of each parish to have an in-depth knowledge of the Bible. A total of 36 women from 12 churches of Kathmandu valley participated in the Bible quiz.

There were 12 groups with each group consisting of three members. The contestants took part in the competition with so much enthusiasm and zeal and they made this event a successful one.

Punam Chaudhary said, “I want to express my joy and thankful heart to God because this Bible quiz contest has inspired me to read the Bible and has helped me to know the Word of God more.”

Mika Rai who won the first prize said, “I thank God and also the women’s fellowship leader for organizing this contest for us. I am so happy to win the first prize because my hard work did not go in vain. We should organize similar events even in the days to come, so that we will have deeper knowledge of the Bible”.
