Diocese of Chennai Provides Covid-19 Hygiene Kits to 150 Frontline Corona warriors

To support the police personnel and healthcare workers who continue to work valiantly as frontline COVID-19 warriors for the safety and well-being of people, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Chennai under the leadership of HG Dr. Samuel Mor Theophilus Episcopa distributed hygiene kits to 150 frontline workers.

The distributions were held at three different places in Kanchipuram District of Tamil Nadu. The hygiene kits were distributed to healthcare workers at a government hospital, to police personnel working at Police Assistance Booths and also to panchayat workers.

On receiving the Covid-19 hygiene kit, a nurse named Priya said, ”I am a nurse and I have to attend to coronavirus patients every day. I have to sanitize my hands each minute. I am extremely happy and thankful to the church leaders for reaching out to us, risking their own lives in this pandemic situation.”
