Diocese of Birtamod Holds Two-Day Conference

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod successfully organized a two-day conference from 19-20 April 2022.

There were more than 50 members including priests, church elders, deacons and selected church members who attended the conference from different parishes of Ilam district.

H.G. Titus Mor Osthathiose Episcopa (Archbishop of Nepal) was the keynote speaker at the conference. H.G. Theodore Mor Origen Episcopa and the vicar general of Birtamod Diocese also spoke at the conference which focused on the Faith and Traditions of Believers Eastern Church.

The conference commenced at 9:00 am with kauma, followed by the celebration of the Eucharist officiated by H.G. Titus Mor Osthathiose.

His Grace Titus Mor Osthathiose Episcopa spoke on the topic “Worship involves our five senses”. “Our worship becomes meaningful when we worship God with our five senses”, he said.

His Grace Theodore Mor Origen spoke on the topic ‘the Eucharist’ which is the main focal point of worship.
