Diocese of Birtamod Distributes Winter Jackets To Children

Children from St. Paul’s Believers Eastern Church in Nepal were all smiles after receiving brand-new winter jackets from Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod.

The distribution organized by the diocese on 24 December 2022 saw 37 Sunday school children receiving winter jackets. The goal of the distribution program was to ensure that no child goes without a warm cloth during the winter season.

Most of the children who attend the Sunday school in this local church are from poor family background. Their parents are daily wage laborers. Therefore, buying winter clothes for their children is outside their budget. The parents were very grateful that the church provided their children with a timely gift they needed the most during this cold winter.

The children were also happy to receive the useful gift and they thanked the church. Along with jacket, additional gifts such as woolen cap, socks, gloves, toothbrush, and toothpaste were also provided to each child during the distribution.
