Diocese of Bilaspur Distributes Provision Items to Old Widows

Believers Church Diocese of Bilaspur distributed provision items to poor widows on 23rd June 2017, on the occasion of International Widows Day.

The provision items comprised of rice (25 kg), dal or lentils (3 kg), onion (4 kg), vegetable oil (1 L), salt (1 kg) and two bathing soaps. The kit was distributed to 23 old and helpless widows who are living a solitary life and struggling hard to survive.

They were very happy and expressed their gratitude to the church for providing them with items which are essential for meeting their daily needs.
