Diocese of Agartala Inducts Nine Sisters into the Order of the Sisters of the Cross

The Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Agartala joyfully conducted the commissioning and dedication service for the new batch of the Sisters of the Cross on July 1 and 2, 2024, at St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church in Khumulwng, Tripura.

His Grace Bishop Yacob Mor Theophanous Episcopa of Agartala Diocese presided over both services. Nine sisters, having completed their prescribed training, were officially inducted into the Order of the Sisters of the Cross by the Episcopa.

One of the newly inducted sisters, Sandhya Debbarma, expressed her joy and gratitude, saying, “I am very happy today because I have been given this great privilege to serve God among His people. I thank God for choosing me to serve Him.”
