The Diocese of Odisha installed a new bore well in a remote village on 20th June 2014. More than 15 people use this bore well for their daily water requirements.
The people in this tribal village were daily wagers and lived in a poor economic condition. They used the water from a nearby flowing stream to meet their daily water requirements. This unhygienic water caused them to fall sick often.
By seeing the scarcity of water in this village, the church took the initiative to drill a new bore well for them. The villagers were so happy and expressed their gratitude towards Believers Church for helping them.
Believers Church, through its clean water project provides pure drinking water to thousands of needy communities.
