Diocese of Odisha Conducts Poverty Alleviation Program
January 20, 2014The Diocese of Odisha held a poverty alleviation program on 20th January 2014. Sixty-two people received free gifts on that day. The gifts included tin sheets, thelas (carts), goats and sewing machines.
Mr.Ananda Marandi (Local M.L.A) was the chief guest of the program. In his speech he appreciated the work of Believers Church and thanked Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan for his compassion for impoverished people.
Through the Poverty Alleviation project, the church uplifts the lives of poor and needy.
