Diocese of Niranam Helps Poor Families Celebrate Onam

Believers Church Diocese of Niranam distributed Onam kits to the poor in various places on 5th September 2014. They distributed 175 kits containing 10kg rice, 1kg sugar, salt, vegetable oil, pappad, banana chips and payasam kit that day.

The who received the kits include widows and extremely poor people in society. So to help them to celebrate the harvest festival in its full extend, the church distributed these kits.

Rev. Fr. Ninan, Rev. Fr. Libeesh, Rev. Fr. Paulose and Rev. Fr. Mathewkkutty distributed kits in different places. All the beneficiaries thanked church for providing them these items with which they can celebrate Onam.

Believers Church sees the struggles of downtrodden and helps them to have hope and happiness in their lives through different activities like gift distribution programs, poverty alleviation and literacy programs.
