Diocese of Niranam Distributes 200 Onam Kits to Poor and Needy Families

Believers Church Diocese of Niranam held Onam kit distribution programs in two different districts between 4th and 6th September 2014. Two hundred families received Onam kits containing 10kg rice, 1kg sugar, salt, vegetable oil, pappad, banana chips and payasam.

These families are extremely poor and struggle to purchase enough food to eat on a daily basis. So the church came forward to help these families also to enjoy Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, with full joy and happiness.

The program was organized by DORA Microfinance and distributions were held at seven different places. And all the beneficiaries thanked the church for showing love towards them.

Believers Church spreads awareness, ensures better health and brings hope and happiness in the lives of poor and needy people in the society by organizing awareness programs, medical camps and food kit distribution programs.
