Diocese of Niranam Conducts Medical Camp for Rural Villagers

Believers Church Diocese of Niranam conducted a free medical camp on 4th August 2014. Around 120 people attended the program and received free medicines on that day. Dora Microfinance and Believers Church Medical College Hospital conducted this program to serve the rural villagers.

Mr. Babu Veliyathe (Panchayat President) inaugurated the program and talked to the people about the importance of the health in a society.

A team of four doctors – an orthopedic, pediatrician, gynecologist and a general physician attended the people. The response of the camp was huge and many people said that they feel cared.

This was one among the five medical camps which took place in the diocese over a two week period and these medical camps are just one aspect of Believers Church’s medical initiatives.
