Women’s Fellowship Conducts Anti-Tobacco Program for Students

On 31st May 2014, World No Tobacco Day, Women’s Fellowship members of the Diocese of Nellore held an awareness program for Bridge of Hope children. Around 167 students attended the program.

Sis. Nzamoni addressed the students and said “Tobacco consumption can lead to diseases like cancer. Nowadays the perspective of life is changed for teenagers and 90% of smokers begin this habit in their teenage years.” They played a video to show the harmful effects of tobacco.

After watching the video, students made the decision that they would say no to tobacco and took the challenge to spread the awareness to others.

Believers Church through its awareness programs and rallies changed the life of many people on this World No Tobacco Day.
