The Diocese of Nagpur inaugurated bore wells in different locations between 12th April and 15th April 2014. More than 280 people from seven different villages got benefited from the new facilities.
All these villages were facing water scarcity for a long time. Most of the villagers were daily wagers and living below the poverty line. Getting clean drinking water was difficult, so they depended on the nearby unclean pond water.
In one of such places, the church installed a bore well near a government school. Both students and staffs use this water from the bore well for drinking.
Many thousands of villages have gotten access to pure drinking water through Believers Church’s clean water project.
