Diocese of Nagpur Ensures Good Vision and Basic Health of 550 Children

Believers Church Diocese of Nagpur organized Blindness Control programs in different places to ensure the good health of children on 15th March 2016.

These distributions were held in a school and in two slums. Majority of the children here do not get proper nourishment due to their family’s poverty. So, the church organized this program to help such children to stay healthy.

A general doctor from a local hospital was invited as the chief guest. He came and explained the parents and the children about the importance of taking Albendazole and Multivitamin tablets in controlling blindness and parasitic infections in children. Later, the tablets were distributed to each child.

550 children received vitamins that day. Their parents and teachers thanked the church for making them aware of the importance of taking these supplements for their children’s good health and also for providing it freely.

Believers Church conducts Medical Camps and Vitamin Distribution programs to ensure the health of people who are unable to afford to any medical facilities.
