Diocese of Malabar Distributes Hygiene and School Supplies to Needy Children

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Malabar organized a school supply and hygiene kit distribution in a village in Kannur district, Kerala through Hope for Children on 27 October 2021.

The vicar of Malabar diocese, local priests, Hope for Children staff and panchayat president were present at the distribution program.

The distribution was held with the purpose of helping the poor and needy children whose families have been affected by Covid-19 pandemic and struggling to meet their daily needs.

At the end of the program, the hygiene kits and school supplies were distributed to the children. Each child received pen, pencil, eraser, scale, drawing book, color pencils, sanitizer, face mask, tooth paste, tooth brush, bathing soap, and washing soap. Altogether, 74 poor and needy children were given the essential supplies.

The children were very happy to receive the items and conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Hope for Children and the church.
