Diocese of Lucknow Spreads Warmth Among the Differently Abled

On 3 December 2018, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow observed International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The diocese held various social welfare programs to lend a helping hand to differently abled people to mark the day.

One of the teams from the Diocese office visited a home for differently abled where they gave warm blankets to the inmates of the home. A total of 46 people received the blankets.

Another team consisting of sisters went to a leper colony and distributed around 30 mosquito nets among the residents.

Numerous other teams including local parishes visited various villages and distributed shawls, blankets, jackets, mosquito nets and food packets to the physically challenged persons to help them stay warm and healthy in this winter season.
