Diocese of Lucknow Helps Over 50 Differently-abled Persons with Food and Essentials

On 3 December 2021, on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, parishes in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow reached out to the physically-challenged people in their respective communities with food and other necessities.

A parish located in Rajgarh district prepared hot meals and served to 20 poor and disabled persons, in observance of the day.

Another parish in Believers Eastern Church Mission Province of Roberstganj provided food packets to 30 destitute people, including 20 differently-abled persons.

The St. John Believers Eastern Church located in Believers Eastern Church Mission Province of Bareilly provided cloth and food to women with disabilities, on the occasion.

A small parish in Banda district distributed warm cloths to physically-disabled persons on this day.

Moti Lal, 50 years old, said, “I am very much thankful to you for giving this precious gift on this day and helping me in time of need. I thank the church for doing this good work for the humanity.
