Diocese of Lucknow Distributes Tricycles to the Disabled on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

On 3rd December 2016, Believers Church Diocese of Lucknow distributed tricycles to the differently abled people to mark the observation of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Altogether 13 physically handicapped people, including mute, blind and persons who do not have both their legs, received tricycles on this day. They used to feel utterly helpless and consider themselves a burden to their families, owing to their disability. Some of them needed the help of more than one person to carry them and some even had to pay money to get help.

After receiving the tricycles, they felt very happy and encouraged. Slam, 35 years old, said, “I am so thankful to Believers Church for this gift. I will never forget this help in my life”.
