Diocese of Lucknow Distributes Mosquito Nets to 40 Needy Families to Fight Dengue

To curb the spread of dengue fever, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow organized a mosquito net distribution program in a remote village in Lucknow district on 3 November 2021.

Since September, Lucknow has been witnessing a massive dengue outbreak, taking the total number of cases close to 1,000. Though mosquito nets provide protection against the dengue fever transmitted by Aedes mosquitos to people during the day, many poor families simply cannot afford mosquito nets.

Through the distribution held by the diocese, 40 needy families were helped with mosquito nets.
