Diocese of Lucknow Distributes Mosquito Nets to 200 Needy Families on World Mosquito Day

On 20 August 2021, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Lucknow marked the World Mosquito Day with mosquito net distribution and awareness programs.

The local parishes in the diocese held awareness programs and taught villagers about the diseases caused by mosquito bites and how to protect themselves against such diseases. They shared with the participants about the importance of keeping their homes neat and clean and how to prevent water stagnation in and around their houses. They also distributed bed nets and mosquito coils to poor and needy families.

A total of 200 families were provided with life-saving mosquito nets on this day.
