Diocese of Kolkata Provides Free Medical Care to Flood Victims

Believers Church Diocese of Kolkata organized a free medical camp for flood victims in one place on 17th August 2015.

The water level has gone down already. But, the place where they stay became very unhygienic, due to which many contagious ailments like diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion and other infections are spreading among the flood victims. They are struggling without proper medications or medical care. So, the church organized this camp to help such people.

Five doctors from a renowned hospital came to provide the needed medical care, and 198 people received free health checkups and medicines that day. They all thanked the church for giving them to access medical care freely and caring for them.

This is just an example how the church is utilizing its various projects to improve the health and quality of life of people living in remote villages.
