Diocese of Kolkata Inaugurates Two New Tailoring Units for the Empowerment of Women

Believers Church Diocese of Kolkata inaugurated new tailoring units at two different places on 18th October 2014.

The main purpose of opening these units is to give underprivileged women a chance to learn a skill which can be used to earn an income and support their families.

50 women were enrolled into these centers and they are all very thankful to the church for coming forward to help them.

Through the vocational training and adult literacy programs, the Church empowers women in our society and helps them to become self-supporting.
