Diocese of Kolkata Helps Over 12,000 People Through Income-Generating Gift Distribution Programs

Believers Church Diocese of Kolkata organized income-generating gift distribution programs in three different places between 7th and 10th of July 2015.

Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan and Shri Ranajit Mondal (MLA) were the chief guests in one place. They distributed the gifts to the beneficiaries there.

Altogether 12,000 mosquito nets and 108 tricycles were distributed to the neediest people including few leprosy-affected peoples. They all thanked the church for showing compassion to them.

Events like this are an example of how the church is caring for the needs of poor, needy and destitute through its social welfare and poverty alleviation programs.
