Diocese of Kathmandu Opens a New Tailoring Center for Underprivileged Women

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu inaugurated a new tailoring training center in Chitwan District, Nepal through Hope for Children on 18 August 2021.

The tailoring training center has been started with the objective to help underprivileged women in the community become economically independent through skill training.

Mr. Om Prakash Mahato, village chairman, was present at the inaugural program. He appreciated the Hope for Children for its service to society as well as thanked the leaders of the church for taking the initiative to empower poor and needy women through vocational training.

A total of 22 women have enrolled for the training program.
