On 21st April 2016, Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu organized a relief program in a village in Sindhuli District.
This village is located near a forest. On 13th April 2016, a fire broke in this forest and spread to the village, destroying the houses of 65 families along with their crops and animals. Now, all of them are stranded without any means to live. Seeing their situation, the church decided to provide them with basic and most needed living utensils.
Each family was given with cooking vessels, spoons, jugs and buckets. “We lost everything and we were really sad and worried about it,” said Bhairab, one recipient. “Thank you so much for encouraging us and also for giving us these supplies.”
Through Humanitarian Assistance, Believers Church immediately reaches out to the victims of natural disasters with timely relief and help.
