Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu helped 220 earthquake victims in a remote village in Kathmandu District on 21st June 2015.
People are staying in tents as the earthquakes have destroyed their houses. They are suffering without electricity and struggling from mosquito attacks. Seeing their need, the church decided to help them. The church distributed solar lights and mosquito nets to 130 families and 10 notebooks, raincoats and 12 pencils each to 90 school-going children.
“Thank you for giving us these items,” said Dawa Tamang, a recipient. “Now, we can stay safe from mosquito bites.”
