As schools are gearing up to resume classes in Nepal, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu distributed school supplies to around 70 needy school-going children, through Hope for Children on 31 July 2021.
The distribution program took place at a hilly area in Rasuwa district. The local parish priest of the village gave away the items to the children. Each child received a set of 12 notebooks and a geometry box. Umbrellas were also provided to the children to ensure that they could attend school regularly during monsoon season and protect themselves from rain.
On receiving the items the children were happy and thanked Hope for Children and the Church for providing them with essential necessities.
