On 5th July 2015, Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu distributed food supplies to earthquake victims in one village in Sindhupalchok District.
This district is one of the worst hit districts in Nepal. People here have lost their houses and all their belongings. They are still struggling to survive even though it has been two months since the earthquakes hit their village. So, the church decided to reach to them with relief aid. That day, the church distributed 30 kg of rice and 1 kg of salt to 172 of the neediest families.
“You came to us with help even though you don’t know us,” said Ram Kaji Khadka, a recipient. “Thank you so much for coming forward to help us.”
Believers Church is still reaching to the affected individuals with relief aid and supplies. Read to know more about the church’s ongoing relief efforts.
