Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu helped 130 earthquake-hit families in a remote village in Kathmandu District on 3rd June 2015.
The earthquake destroyed almost all houses here. People lost everything they had. Even though, it’s been one month since the earthquake, they are still suffering due to the lack of food and other necessary supplies. So, a relief team including the church’s social workers and Sisters of Compassion went to their village with help. They distributed rice bags, salt and pulses to the victims who have gathered there.
They were happy and grateful towards the church for seeing their need and providing with it.
Believers Church is still continuing with its relief works and reaches to people who are in need with supplies and help.
