Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu distributed relief supplies to Nepal earthquake victims in a remote village in Nuwakot District on 1st May 2015.
It is a mountainous village. Reaching here with relief aid was very difficult as transportation facilities were destroyed. A team under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Chitra went there and distributed food kits, each containing 30 kg rice, salt, noodles and biscuits, to 90 families.
“Thank you so much for these supplies,” said Dolma Tamang, a beneficiary. “We will survive the next few weeks with these supplies.”
Believers Church is actively working in the affected areas to provide timely relief to the affected families.
