Diocese of Jasidih Protects 1,480 People from Mosquito-Borne Diseases
November 12, 2014Believers Church Diocese of Jasidih distributed medicated mosquito nets to 1,480 people in different villages from 10th to 12th November 2014.
The purpose of these distribution programs was to provide them protection from mosquito bites and accompanying mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and dengue fever.
People from 18 different villages received nets. “Thank you so much for providing us protection from mosquito bites and diseases caused by it,” said Shankar Marandi, one village head.
The Church organizes mosquito net, blanket and income generating gift distribution programs to improve the health and quality of life of people in rural areas.
