On 22nd April 2014, the Diocese of Jasidih installed bore wells in different locations for the needy communities. More than 760 people use these bore wells for their water needs.
These villages didn’t have a permanent water source; they depended on nearby ponds for water. They washed their clothes there, bathed there and used the same water for cooking and drinking. This impure water was a cause of diarrhea and cholera, and the villagers often fell sick.
The church provides pure drinking water to thousands of villages to improve their health and the quality of their living.
