Diocese of Imphal Gifts BioSand Water Filters to 29 Families

Believers Church Diocese of Imphal distributed BioSand Water Filters to 29 families in a remote village on 26th May 2015.

There is a river flowing through their village, which is the main water source of the villagers. This water isn’t safe for drinking. But they used this water directly, and many of them fell sick due to waterborne diseases. So, the church decided to distribute the filters by to help them protect their health.

“Thank you so much for this filter,” said Ashem Mikhubi, a beneficiary. “Now I can drink water without any fear.”

Believers Church helps hundreds of thousands of people each year through its clean water project.
