Diocese of Hyderabad Provides 30,000 Liters of Water in Six Villages in Telangana

The Indian state of Telangana is one of 11 states that are severely affected by drought. Almost all wells and bore wells are completely dried off and people are spending almost all their time in search of water. So far, the death of 234 people has been confirmed in this state alone.

Believers Church has taken initiatives to respond to this situation and to bring effective relief to affected villages.

The church started sending water tankers, each containing 5,000 liters of water to six villages in Mahbubnagar and Adilabad districts from 3rd May 2016 onwards. In the coming days, the church will continue to provide water, until the start of monsoon.
