Diocese of Hyderabad Observes World Day Against Child Labor With Great Fervor

To create awareness among people about eradicating child labor, Believers Church Diocese of Hyderabad observed World Day Against Child Labor on 12th June 2016 with great fervor. The diocese took out anti-child labor rallies and conducted awareness programs in different places to mark the occasion.

A large number of students of Bridge of Hope and staff marched in the rally carrying placards and banners highlighting the issues surrounding child labor. At every center places of the villages and towns, they formed a circle and spoke about ill-effects of child labor. Bridge of Hope staff, invited guests and even a few Bridge of Hope children delivered speeches in these places.

On the same day, awareness programs also were conducted where the Bridge of Hope staff explained to the children and their parents about the importance of the day. They encouraged all those present there to take a pledge to support the fight against child labor.
