Believers Church Diocese of Gorakhpur inaugurated two new tailoring units on 15th August 2015, during the celebration of the Independence Day of India.
The main purpose of opening these centers was to provide the underprivileged women and girls in these villages a chance to learn some useful skill, with which they can earn an income.
50 women have enrolled for the course. In the coming days, they will be given training in stitching and embroidery works. All of them thanked the church for opening these centers for them.
The church empowers the underprivileged women in society through its Vocational Training and Adult Literacy programs.
