Diocese of Gorakhpur Continues its Efforts to Help the Flood Victims

In continuation of its relief efforts, on 28th August 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Gorakhpur distributed food, water and clothes to the displaced families that have taken shelter in a relief camp.

The diocese distributed 200 water packets, 150 food (puri and vegetable curry) packets and clothes among the flood-hit families.

The people were happy and grateful for the help they received. As they had lost everything in the floodwaters, they could not even change their clothes. One of the women who received a saree said, “I could not take bath for many days, because I did not have extra clothes to change. Thank you so much for providing me a saree.”
