Diocese of Dimapur Helps Widows With Essentials

A small parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Dimapur held a dry ration distribution to help the poor widows in the community on 19 June 2021.

These widows are daily wage laborers, but the ongoing lockdown has rendered them jobless and they have been going through a hard time to make ends meet.

The priest and members of the parish visited their homes and distributed to them dry ration kits consisting of 4 kg potatoes, 1 kg dal and ½ a litre cooking oil. The women thanked the church for helping them in time of their need.
